Soleil Says: I Hate My Job

Nothing sucks more than being at a job you hate. How did I deal with it you ask? I struggled. I struggled to believe that there was more to life than what I was doing. I mean, I knew there was more but I couldn't grasp that feeling there was. What sucked more is that I was applying for new jobs left and right but nothing came to fruition. It didn't matter how much I cried, used affirmations, etc. Nothing worked. But what I did know is that God always did do his best work for me when I was unemployed. So I went out the very little faith I had and quit. But that's what I did. Emphasis on I.

As for you, first thing is figure out what you want to do and then go for it. But go for it in a way that feels right for you. For me, it was quitting and going on faith and more than a few prayers. For you, that might not be the case. Maybe just applying for jobs and landing the perfect one may work. Perhaps the use of affirmations, prayers, vision boards or a combination of all the above. Maybe networking might be your gateway. My point is, do what you feel is best for you, your happiness and sanity. Also, believe that there is something better for you out there. Because no matter which way you choose to go about getting this new job you desire, nothing will happen if you don't believe.

But I will leave you with this. I'm not sure if you're a praying woman but if so, prayer changes things. Ask God for guidance and to open and clear paths for you to get you where you need to be. You'll be amazed at the doors that will open for you. If you're more of a more of a universal person, same concept applies.

Best of luck to you! Sending blessings your way!
