The Secret To The Secret

You guys know I'm all about that law of attraction. I've posted my highs with it and my lows. But one thing that I know for sure is that it is real and it does work.

According the popular book "The Secret" by Rhonda Byrne, the basis of the law of attraction is to ask, believe, and receive. This could also be referred to as the law of prayer, depending on how you feel about the term. Regardless of what it's called, the steps to receiving what's Divinely yours are the same. Ask for what you want, believe that it will come into fruition in due time, and you shall ultimately receive.

But you know what the hardest part of all that is? The believing part. How can you believe in what you do not see? How can you have faith when you're not sure? How can you just know everything is going to work out? Believing and having faith is the hardest step, especially for me. However, it doesn't have to be.

Call me crazy or late to the party, but I've realized the secret to the secret. I've came to the realization that in order for your goals to truly manifest, you have to detach yourself from it.

This notion may sound weird because it's often said to focus on your desire, visualize your desire, and basically put your heart into it. Now I do agree with this but at some point, you have to let go. You have let God/Universe do its job.

I believe that you should focus & visualize your desires as you pray to the higher power. Once you do that, surrender it. Let it go. It's being handled as Olivia Pope would say. This is not to say to throw your vision boards. Please, keep those. But don't cling on to it. Matter of fact, after you put out your desire and give thanks in advance, honestly just forget about it. Go about your life and business and watch what happens.

You may have forgotten about it but the Universe hasn't. Let go and watch God deliver.

Blessings,
Soleil
