Happy March: Live on Purpose

Happy March everyone! I have a question for you: are you living or existing? I find myself asking that question to myself more than ever before and the answer was startling. I'm simply just existing.

I'm (almost) 25 years old but I don't have much to show for it. I feel like there's more I should be doing. Not just going to a part time job I don't enjoy and coming home to do nothing. Unless you count eating, drinking, and watching reruns of my favorite shows. Talk about a party.

On paper, I like to think I look good or at least half way decent. I have my BA and I'm working on my Master's. I have dreams and highly ambitious. I can be nice if you rub me the right way and I'm a girl who loves food. But that's all I got. I don't hang out with friends (all of my real friends live far away anyway). I don't travel as much as I would like or if at all. I don't go to clubs, parties, or anything that would make my life semi interesting. Don't let my twitter fool you. My life is pretty boring if you ask me.

So how do I go from just existing to living? I don't know. But I'm figuring out the details as I write this post. Necole Bitchie is one of my inspirations and her living a life of purpose has inspired me. I want to do something with my life while I still have the time. I don't want to just exist. I want the world to know that I was here. I want to live.

Let's all take a vow to live life to the fullest. We all have an expiration date. The least we can do to honor our lives is to actually live it. Eat more. Play more. Do what you love. Travel the world. Fall in love. Do things you've never done before. Create a bucket list. Live your life as if it's your last!

Your life is consisted of two dates and a dash. Make the most of the dash.

Be blessed & prosper,
Soleil
